purpose
The individual will be responsible for the daily administrational function of the settlement area. In addition, this individual will provide operational support to the Front, Middle office and Branches to reduce operational risk and improve operational controls and efficiency in the area.
responsibilities
- Resolve all customer issues or queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
- Build and maintain an effective working relationship with a variety of stakeholders including Traders, Settlement Agents, International Banks, and Bond Exchange.
- Perform trade affirmations, verification, settlement initiation and confirmation of foreign exchange, derivatives, options, bonds, and money market trades.
- Reconcile and control positions between dealing and settlement systems.
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
- Prepare and submit reports relating to activities in area under control for management decision making.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies.
experience and qualifications
- Minimum qualification : Relevant Degree.
- Professional Registrations : ACI Accreditation.
- Minimum years of relevant experience : 3 Years.
