Job Title: Accountant & Administrative Officer - Zormelo & Associates
General Responsibilities
- Payments and accounts for all payments development- and administrative payments made by the Embassy
- Responsible for the Embassy’s administrative and operating budget in liaison with Head of Admin. and presentation of the operating budget
- Salaries for local staff, deduction of social security and taxes and payments thereof
- Bookkeeping visa fees and consular fees
- Procurement in cooperation with the Head of Administration
- Co-ordinating with the drivers, control and maintenance of driving records
- Maintenance of office automation/checking of maintenance agreements, i.e. contracts
- Responsible and assisting in Computer set up/ ICT issues
- Chancery lease/payments in liaison with Ministry of Foreign Affairs/Statsbygg
- Embassy vehicles, maintenance of cars
Detailed responsibilities
- Reporting to MFA Oslo on administrative issues according to annual calendar regarding accounting issues
- Coordinates and assists the work of the Embassy’s work plan within administrative issues, especially budget/accounting tasks
- Doing subtasks associated with the absence of visa worker and archivist
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- First degree preferably in business administration from a recognised university
- Partly qualified accountant at least at level 2
- At least three (3) years working experience preferably in a multi cultural environment
- Working knowledge of accounting software preferably, Agressor
- Proactive, a team worker with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Integrity and good work ethic
