Role

The candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Bank's operations and any other assigned day-to-day duties.

 

Qualification

  • Candidate must possess first degree in Accounting & Finance, Equivalent Professional
  • Member of CA (Ghana) Part 1&2/ClMA (Management Level)/ACCA (Strategic Level)/ClB-GH (Management Level)
  • At least five (5) years & above at management level in a reputable financial institution, preferably Rural/Community Banks.
  • Candidate must be computer literate and have good knowledge in Microsoft Suite.
  • Good knowledge in Temenos T24 will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate must not be below 40 years.

The Sales and Customer Dealer C is to provide an ongoing efficient and effective service to a portfolio of corporate clients with the aim of maximizing the foreign exchange turnover and profitability for the bank.

responsibilities

  • Assemble, disseminate and distribute economic news.
  • Business Development and networking internally and externally.
  • Experience in high-level relationship building and maintenance.
  • Follow the prescribed procedures when dealing and adhere to the ACI code of conduct.
  • Keep up to data records of client activity and won and lost deals.
  • Maintain a “work in progress” pipeline and a client priority call list.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with TSM and Trader/s and ensure the client’s needs are met.
  • Need to keep up to date with current global developments, including economical and political
  • On an ongoing basis counsel customers on various methods of hedging their forex exposures by way of forward exchange and/or derivatives.
  • Report on forex turnover and take ownership of data integrity/accuracy of reporting.
  • Strong networks within the corporate market.
  • Understand client exposures to foreign exchange, their budgets, benchmark hedging policies and forex flows.
  • Up to date knowledge of Treasury and Forex Products.
  • Achieve turnover and profit targets aligned to the overall Treasury objective.
  • Strive for sustainable growth in revenue for Global Markets Ghana.
  • Build internal and external relationships.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers, opportunities, challenges, needs, competition and threats inherent in the environments/business sectors within which clients operate.
  • Ensures that supportive, open relationships exist between RMs, relevant stakeholders and service providers within the bank.

Routinely supervise and review the preparation of the following;

  • Information Memorandum, prospectus, private placement documents for debt and equity issues the department will be advising on;
  • Valuation opinion/ report on companies as and when required ( i.e. flotation, mergers, or straight valuation transactions);
  • Proposals to solicit mandates for Fidelity Bank;
  • Update of financial models to reflect recent results of companies in Fidelity Bank’s database;

  • Routinely supervise and review the paying agent, calculation agent, and receiving agent role for the Trustee business;

  • All other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Corporate Finance to whom the Senior Financial Analyst shall report.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Wholesale, Public Sector, Retail (including branches) and Digital Banking Sales businesses for the country.
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire and maintain clients for Wholesale, Public Sector, Retail and Digital Banking businesses in coordination with product and sales teams.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key customers and prepare various vertical market strategies to enhance growth.
  • Track and monitor existing and emerging opportunities and develop alliances to ease conversion, wallet share growth and service offerings to clients/ customers.
  • Prepare and document all market plans and drive to convert the plans to value.
  • Analyze and prepare forecasts and estimates for various selling procedures as well as measure and assess the profitability of the relationships.
  • Work closely with other/ relevant key stakeholders to drive trade and other businesses.
  • Provide support to Relationship Managers/ Officers in the expansion and deepening of relationships for the bank.
  • Provide required training for in-country Relationship Managers/ Officers to generate adequate value.
