By joining the Business Development team as a Project Manager in charge of Agri Partnerships, you will support Advans Ghana in achieving financial inclusion goals, developing new financial products and services for farmers and other chain actors. agricultural value.

The position is based in Accra, Ghana for a period of 12 months, potentially renewable.

The missions that will be entrusted to you


Under the direct supervision of the Business Development Manager, you will be in charge of developing agri partnerships and value chains within Advans Ghana and expanding the offer of financial products and services for farmers and other value chain actors. farm. Your main missions will be:

 

* Analyze the operational environment, market conditions and customer needs, in order to identify agri partnerships and potential value chains

* Create a business case for identified partnerships, to define potential results, associated costs and expected profitability

  • Lead negotiations and partnerships, ensure good communication between stakeholders and mobilize the resources needed to make successful deployments

* Track the performance of pilots recently established partnerships

* Prepare reports on the results of these new partnerships vis-à-vis the set objectives and provide recommendations on future improvements

* Transfer the necessary knowledge to sales teams to operationalize confirmed partnerships

* Collaborate closely with the Partnerships Supervisor to ensure agile coordination of tasks and deliverables across all projects

* Coordinate with different units such as Risk, Legal, Back Office, Human Resources, IT and Alternative Delivery Channels, during the establishment of the partnership

  

Required profile
You have a Master's degree in agronomy, engineering, management or development economics, you have a professional experience of 4 years minimum including internships, you are force of proposal and interested by the sector of microfinance and the missions of 'Advans. You have a / from:


* Significant experience in project management

* Good understanding of the dynamics and challenges of agricultural partnerships and value chains

* Ability to manage complex projects, involving many internal and external stakeholders (top management, commercial division, marketing, risk, external partners, etc.)

* Ability to manage negotiations with external partners (business partners, suppliers, farmers' organizations, etc.)

* Ability to have a customer-centric approach, especially for the rural population and small farmers

* Successful professional experience in a developing country (preferable)

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Good organizational skills, analysis and synthesis

* Good mastery of office tools

* Ability to manage a project team
