Full Job Description - Read Carefully
JobTtile: Chief Accountant
The Job Responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:
- Manage accounts staff (scheduling, training, disciplining, appraising, etc.)
- Develop, motivate and coach subordinates to achieve sustained performance improvement
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other local regulatory requirements
- Ensure accurate, timely and organized treatment of all accounting documents
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of cash statements
- Review and enforce financial and internal control policies and procedures
- Ensure timely monthly closing of accounts
- Organize and supervise annual physical stock takings
- Act as an advisor to management on all accounting and fiscal matters

Qualification Required & Experience
- A qualified accountant (member of ACCA/ICAG)/Or An Experienced one with Masters in the respective field
- Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian tax systems
- Very good working knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of Tally is an asset
