Job Title: Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing - Ghana
Reporting To: Regional Manager West Africa
Key Tasks:
- To manage the mill circuit products sales function for the West Africa Region
- Ensuring the achievement of sales and operational targets for: cyclones, valves, rubber sheets. mill liners, spools, rubber hoses a. bends, for the West Africa region
- Establish and maintain credibility by having all customer requirements process., expedited and supplied to comply with promised delivery dates
- Having all customer complaints attended to promptly and any cause of premature products failures investigated and solved through liaison with divisional and product managers
- Maintain data on competitors/replicators equipment and activities (reports to product managers to assist with the determining of future policies and strategies)

- Prepare and conduct staff performance reviews with the object of motivating and improving the standard of sales staff performance
- Conform to customer expectations, to achieve customer satisfaction
- Maintain realistic stock levels to meet acceptable customer service levels
- Assist debtors staff to collect payment of outstanding accounts
- Ensure sales stuff conform to company policies and procedures, includes sales reports / field product audits / customer complaints
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree - Sales & Marketing
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Computer Literate - MS Office Suite, ERP Software
Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years related experience and / or training
- Month end sales reporting to be included a, branch management report
- Select and recommend product, (applications engineering) technical solutions - trouble shooting, increased production throughout, cost saving advice
- Manage tenders and quotations, from quote to order, to delivery
- Liaise with H/O to resolve operational problems and queries
- Adherence to all HSE and housekeeping requirements at the branch
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
Minimum Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent business communication at all levels
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical journals, financial reports and legal documents
- Ability to define and solve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to deal with difficult customers and respond promptly to customer needs
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage staff
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
- Cost conscious
