A reputable institution is seeking to recruit Product Designer / Draftsman.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Creative minded person with ideas on interior and exterior decoration and designs
• Ability to manage time and customers to ensure closing of designed orders
• Modern artistic person with ideas on trending designs
• Ability to cost designed items added advantage
• Skilful and artistic in designs and drawings
• Technically minded to take measurements for drawings and production
• Ability to complete designs within limited periods of request
• Ability to plan schedules of designs and customer visits
• Ability to use technology to design products
• Ability to use AutoCAD or like software for designs and measurements
• Managing designs, computer simulations and project relationship management.
• Knowledge of MDF. Chipboard and wood industry are an advantage
• Manage projects from design stage to end production ability is an advantage
• Ability to manage customers to close orders and ensure timely production is key in managing position.
• Ability to design 3D drawings and develop sketches to assist client’s decision on purchase.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Technical education from a reputed university or polytechnic
• Having a valid driving license
• Prior experience in a professional organisation
• Computer savvy
