Role purpose
- To support the maintenance Vodafone Ghana’s mediation platform, ensuring 3rd party systems are properly connected to billing systems
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain the Mediation and Service Provisioning Platforms
- Implement new rule changes on mediation and provisioning platforms.
- Ensure CDRs are received from Core Network nodes, processed by mediation platform and delivered to downstream systems
- Manage and maintain the Provisioning system to ensure provisioning requests are successfully sent to the appropriate network elements (HLR, IN, CBS, NGN, etc). Provisioning failure rate should be <1%
- Manage and monitor the integration of all 3rd party systems and payment platforms integrated with the billing systems
- Ensure the timely delivery of CDRs to the following systems (BI, RAID, FMS, Syniverse)
- Manage and maintain the following systems: LBI, I2000, NBU and Roaming Server
- Manage the timely delivery of NTRDE roaming files to roaming data clearing house (DCH)
Key Competencies
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Telecom, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- Minimum 3years experience in billing or convergent charging, preferably in the telecommunications sector
- Medium to high level expert in telecom mediation processes and other billing concepts
- Understanding of convergent charging and intelligent networks
- Intermediate to advance knowledge in SQL or UNIX
