Job Summary
The Clerk to Parliament is the head of the Parliamentary Service, a member of the Parliamentary Service Board and the Principal Adviser to the Speaker, Leadership and Members of Parliament on matters on procedure, policy and administration
The Clerk assists the Speaker of Parliament in ensuring that the Parliament of Ghana works according to Ghana's constitution and the House's standings orders.
The post holder shall exercise strategic leadership and good judgment for the day-to-day administration of the Service by the provisions of the Parliamentary Service Act (Act 460), 1993 and the Parliamentary Service (Staff) Regulations, 2019, C.I 118.
