Full Job Description - Read Carefully
Role purpose
- Carry out testing ,Validation and Quality Assurance of new products and services as well as carrying out regression test during platform upgrade
Key accountabilities
- Test all new products and services developed and certify for implementation or otherwise
- Carry out End to End testing of products and services during Platform upgrades
- Analyse Detail Call records and make recommendations to product developers, platform vendors and stakeholders
- Carry out compatibility, and user acceptance test on terminal devices, both mobile and fixed
- Perform functional, platform testing & Acceptance as well as quality assurance of Applications developed
- Carry out Validation and Assurance of Solutions Developed
- Lead on new product releases and features with Vendors
- Carry out regression test after Hotslides fixes
- Liaise with Vodafone group on tools and enablers validation in the local market
- Vendors ensuring the profile meets the specified requirements.
Core Competencies
- Minimum educational level of BSC Electrical, Computer, Telecommunication or its equivalent
- Must have at least three year working experience on core intelligent Network or core switch and should be conversant with unix applications
- A professional certificate in Networking or a related programme will be an advantage
- Should have some competency in IT networking
