Role purpose
- Analysing, designing, planning and optimization of cost effective integration of Business Support Systems (BSS) and Integration channels or layers within and outside of the ecosystem
- Create, Maintain and Simplify an effective Integration architecture for Vodafone Ghana
Key accountabilities
- Architecting and designing highly available BSS integrated solutions to meet requirements as defined by the Business Area
- Support IT teams to review software integration design to confirm compliance with architecture principles, specifications, lead design discussions, present ideas to others to achieve buy-in and assist in the integration of applications and technologies
- Advise and share experience on complex integration of BSS/Integration issues by providing technical guidance to project team members (consultancy)
- Set targets for success, and carry out on-going risk analysis. Identify and manage risks to success and escalate accordingly
- Continued monitoring of BSS/Integration platforms capacity and planning towards the mitigation of any capacity issues
Core Competencies
- Strong technological background, with qualification in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent
- More than 3 years’ experience in the integration of BSS and Integration architectures preferably Oracle ESB in a telecom environment
- Excellent knowledge of telecommunication networks and digital technologies
- Demonstrated extensive Integration Design and Architecture design management experience in large and complex environments including Cloud
- Experience; SOA and integration application, SOAP, XML, TIBCO, Oracle Fusion Middleware, OSM, OSB, TOGAF, Oracle DB, MySQL, IP Infrastructure and Networks, Storage, Databases, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE or JNCIP qualifications and skill set experience
- Oracle OSB Certification a plus
