Executive Chef - Luxury Resort, Ghana
- Property: Well established leading resort, premier honeymoon destination in the region featuring 100 keys, more than 3 F&B outlets, banqueting for up to 200 pax, outside weddings up to 1000 pax - very popular at weekends and holidays and during the week busy with conferences
- Salary: Up to US$54,000 Net + Accommodation + Medical + Flights + Vehicle
- Travel Status: Prefer single status but will consider married candidates but no schooling provided because of location
- Preferred age: 35 to 45
- European trained and prior European exposure a plus
- Prior Sub Saharan African continent experience is a must
- Remote location exp a big plus

Our client is managing a well-established leading resort, known to be a premier honeymoon destination in the region. The property features 100 keys, more than 3 exquisite F&B outlets and exclusive banqueting and catering facilities. To manage the overall kitchen operations at this high-end an very busy establishment, we are now searching for a dynamic, well-experienced and hands-on Executive Chef with a 5 star background.
Key Profile:
- Leading a team of 40 including stewarding
- Must be a good all rounder - have good baking skills as well as most items including breads, etc., all are made on-site
- Must be strong on buffet as well as a la carte
- Resort does many pop up venues, such as on islands, banks of river, etc. and therefore the Executive Chef must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Very hands on, candidate must be an outstanding trainer working alongside the team
- Must be creative and strong on logistics - resort is remote and therefore you need to think on your feet
- Must be affable and sensitive to the local culture and be able to manage a multicultural team
- Financially astute
