Reports to: Manager, BDM Reporting & Assurance

Job Summary

•   Responsible for the overall coordinating and gathering of information required to produce Project performance reports related to commercial , technology and stakeholder KPIs and contribution to the business objectives and BRIGHT strategy.

Job Role

•   Coordinate and gather information required to produce performance reports for Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO)
•   Assist the line Manager in Providing reporting guidance to Portfolio managers and other stakeholders
•   Validate and ensuring the right level of information and insight is available for the reporting
•   Maintain close working relationships with stakeholders to ensure they understand and can meet requirements for input data and maintain schedule to ensure timely delivery of information needed for reporting.
•   Responsible for ensuring proper documentation of Portfolio Management Office (PMO) reports , minutes and all related documents
•   Support the Manager in conducting diagnostics on a regular basis across all portfolios within the PMO office to assess the health of project pipeline and ability to identify, plan and execute on projects effectively.
•   Input into stakeholders engagement to ensure their understanding and alignment on how performance are measured against the delivery of the Bright Strategy with respect to their functions and business units.
•   Support in execution and maintenance of the PMO maturity assessments and guidelines.
•   Serve as a change agent for BDM across the business.
•   Engage with respective stakeholders to correct or improve practices that are seen to negatively impact the PMO effectiveness.
•   Assists the business in development of business cases for specific projects initiatives
•   Input into designing and creating needed reporting templates and dashboards for projects/portfolios
•   Analyse and draw reports as ad when required by stakeholders or line managers

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

•   Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management

Experience

•   Minimum of 3 years of Accounting, budget or finance related experience
•   Experience in telecommunications industry is an advantage

Competencies

Knowledge:

•   Adequate knowledge in Financial and project Reporting
•   Basic knowledge in Program & Project Management
•   Adequate knowledge in Business & Financial Acumen
•   Adequate knowledge in Project Performance Management
•   Adequate knowledge in Compliance and risk management
•   Basic understanding of GSM operations
•   Basic knowledge of telecommunications industry.
•   Adequate knowledge in trend analysis and interpretation
•   Adequate knowledge of high volume data analysis
•   Adequate knowledge of reporting tools e.g. Power BI

Skills / physical competencies:

•   Be skilled at organising, planning and time management.
•   Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to think both logically and creatively.
•   Have good spoken and written communication skills.
•   Have good numeracy skills and understand financial decisions.
•   Understand business and have technical skills relevant to the matching project cost to returns in investment.
•   Ability to handle issues with tact and diplomacy
