Job Title: Production Engineer

Department: Production, Polytanks Accra

Reporting Structure:

Report to: Production Manager 

Manage/Supervise: Factory Staff 

Principal Responsibility: 

• Handle production based on set targets and parameters.
• Should have an eye on quality.
• Should be a people oriented person and handle the workforce with firmness and fairness.
• Should be a good administrator of the plant including handling of other stake holders.
• Knowledge of Electronic controls will be an advantage.

Educational Qualifications: 

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Plastics, Diploma holders will not be considered.

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Experience in Roto Moulding and Blow molded water Tanks atleast4-7 years
• Knowledge in ERP
• Knowledge in continual/Kaizen improvements.
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Minimum experience 7 years.
• Should have handled a work force of 50 people.

Key Competencies: 

Other Requirements: 

Person should be technically sound to handle the complete plant functions of a rotational molding company like targeted production, maintenance, planning, administrative functions related to plant. Should be strong in interpersonal skills and a good communicator.
