Job Objectives
To assist in the Internal Audit assignments and to ensure a thorough and independent appraisal of the operational activities of the Company in a professional manner.
- Report to: Head of Internal Audit
- Job Locations: Head Office, Accra
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with audit engagements by conducting financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with prescribed audit standards
- Ensure that statutory regulations, rules, policies and agreements are adhered to.
- Prepare and organize working papers for audit engagements
- Conduct investigations, inspections and interviews and analyze data
- Produce draft reports in a clear, concise and timely manner
Required Skills or Experience
- University Degree (preferably in Accounting)
- Must have completed National Service
- Knowledge of Insurance terminology and workings is preferred
- Exhibit excellent critical thinking, communication and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
- Ability to systematically and logically analyze information
- Highly proficient in written and oral communication
