An excellent opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic person to join a well-established Insurance Company as Audit Support Officer on a temporary employment.

Job Objectives

To assist in the Internal Audit assignments and to ensure a thorough and independent appraisal of the operational activities of the Company in a professional manner.

  • Report to: Head of Internal Audit
  • Job Locations: Head Office, Accra

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with audit engagements by conducting financial, operational and compliance audits in accordance with prescribed audit standards
  • Ensure that statutory regulations, rules, policies and agreements are adhered to.
  • Prepare and organize working papers for audit engagements
  • Conduct investigations, inspections and interviews and analyze data
  • Produce draft reports in a clear, concise and timely manner

Required Skills or Experience

  • University Degree (preferably in Accounting)
  • Must have completed National Service
  • Knowledge of Insurance terminology and workings is preferred
  • Exhibit excellent critical thinking, communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Ability to systematically and logically analyze information
  • Highly proficient in written and oral  communication
