HSE Specialist
Activities:
Operations
- Organise the onsite maintenance operations which are related to maintenance of safety equipment
- Assist the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his/her discipline
- Assist vendors coming on SITE to perform survey or provide occasional services in concern with safety equipment
- Ensure that COMPANY'S HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures and standard industry practice) during performance of maintenance operatons placed under his responsbility).
- Support and develop HSE skills on site
- Develop safety procedure for the safe execution of the work
- Take in charge safety equipment in case of breakdown until correct operation status
- Monitor the status of all safety equipment
Methods
- Identify recurrent corrective maintenance interventions. analyse them and suggest improvements.
- Warn support teans of any recurring problems related to the availability or qualitry of spare parts
- Suggest improvements and request modifications
- Monitor the functioning of safety equipment by following important parameters of the packages
Quality Assurance
Verify the quality of interventions by frequent on-site checks.

Context and Environment
Rotation status 4 weeks x 4 weeks
Purpose
- He/She is responsible for the reliability and integrity of all safety equipment
- He/She is responsible for all preventive maintenanceon safety equipment on SITE (as per list below), ensure the follow-up and highlight all deviation with COMPANY's procedures
- To help management to have a prompt visionof HSE activities and performances in the various locations
- Support HSE training activities, ctarry out HSE visit to the different locations
- compliance with client policies
- Audit, review/report PTW / Policies Standards and Procedures
- Risk Identification
Job Requirements
The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Equivalent Certificate or relevant experiemce of more than 15 years related to HSE in the Oil & Gas
Participation in safety courses
- 5 years experience in industrial plant, as safety engieerduring erection and commissioning or during normal production. Knowledge of safety international and national normative
- Autonomy
- Language, English
- Perfectly competent and independent in his/her field . he/she must show organizational ability
Equipment
Fire fighting equipment
- Fire Hydrant
- Extinguishers
- Portable body spray
- Inergen cylinder status
Breathing equipment
- Breathing apparatus
- Unit escape mask and smoke hoods
- Portable gas detector
Location: Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF), Sanzule, Western Region.
