GenePlanet is an innovative, high-tech company based in Ljubljana, selling to over 30 countries. The main activity of the company is research and development of products from the field of biotechnology, where we specialize in genetic testing and analyses in the field of human genetics.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Medical Sales Representative (ideally with experience within the obstetrician-gynecologist sector) to help us expand our clientele. Your role will not only be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers but to seek new sales channels and opportunities with out of the box thinking.

You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Your skills

  • A university degree in the field of ‘life science’ (biotechnology, biology, microbiology, biochemistry, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English is a must, any additional language is a plus
  • About 1-3 years of experience in sales (a network of gynecologists is a plus)
  • A driving license
  • Ability to embrace and adapt to change, be creative, curious, prepared to ask questions and think outside the box
  • Active knowledge and use of MS Office

Key tasks

  • Active promotion of the company’s portfolio for target customers in the
    Ghanian market
  • Maintaining long-term relationships with customers and key opinion makers
  • Active cooperation with the sales and marketing team
  • Planning, reporting and answering about your work
  • Participating in organizing and conducting professional lectures, promotions and congresses
