A reputable company located in Tema is looking for competent candidates for the following position: Electrical Technician
Responsibilities
• Follow up on daily challenges, faults and breakdowns of electrical equipment and instrumentation, ensuring their timely rectification
• Ensure that corrective actions taken during the shift are appropriate by following up on such activities
• Follow the approved preventive maintenance plan and ensure its implementation, through a proper coordination with the concerned technical and production team members
• Follow the predictive and conditional maintenance plans and ensure its implementation
• Lead / coordinate all required instrument calibrations within the prescribed period
• Ensure that proper records are kept for all maintenance activities
• Ensure the availability of all critical electrical and instrumentation spare parts, through a proper coordination with the storekeeper
• Provide supports during the planning and implementation of new electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Ensure that all major and critical challenges / failures are properly and timely communicated to superiors and affected stakeholders
Qualification Required & Experience
• HND or EET3 or in Electrical and Electronic
• 2 years of minimum experience in same role
Competencies
• Effective in-depth knowledge in electrical machines and devices
• Ability to read and interpret and understand electrical circuit diagrams
• Knowledge in plant automation and instrumentation and control
