The Institut Francais du Ghana is recruiting a part-time Communications officer

Institut francais du Chana, located at the French Embassy, is looking to recruit a part-time communication officer.

Status : Part-time: 20h/week Duration: 6 months (eventually renewable). Position to be filled from March 2019.

Job description :

• Communicate and promote the activities of Institut Franqais and the cooperation and cultural department in the fields of development
  cooperation, academic cooperation (especially Campus France activities and Alumni platform), language and culture (Francophonie, cultural events)
  
• Draft articles in English and French, design communication documents with appropriated software, communicate on social networks, participate in the
  development of the communication plan.

Candidate profile :

• The communications officer should have a degree in higher education, a bachelor's degree or masters;
• A very good working knowledge of digital desktop tools, and preferably a good knowledge of design and communication tools and software;
• A strong cyber culture and in-depth knowledge of social web tools;
• A very good command of the English language (native speaker if possible,) and French (minimum B2-C1);
• A strong ability to adapt and good human relations, flexibility at work, autonomous (ability to work with less supervision)
• Knowledge of the French and Ghanaian university system is a plus.
