A reputable building, civil and mining construction company operating in Ghana invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for the following position: Foreman
Job Summary
• The foreman is responsible for directing and controlling construction projects activities. The Foreman role reports to the Site Agent
Primary Responsibilities
• Arrange sites for work to be done, including ordering trucks for deliveries and equipment
• Accountable for ensuring that the completed work needs standards in accordance with regulations laid down by the law
• Accountable for the preparation and submission of reports
• Ensure that all tasks are performed as per the industry standards
Qualification required & experience
• Must have a proven experience as construction foreman for minimum of 5 years preferably in the construction & mining industries
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OHS guidelines
• Must understand the legal liability of the role
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Must have track record of good leadership skills and be able to confidently take charge
• Ability to communicate and report effectively using appropriate ICT channels
• Fluency in written and spoken french is added advantage
