A reputable building, civil and mining construction company operating in Ghana invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for the following position: Site Agent.
The Site Agent works as the Project Operations lead and coordinates all project activity at site and report to senior management / contracts manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Sets and maintains work sequences and construction programmes
• Sets and maintains production targets and operates witin prescribed cost budgets
• Co-ordinates and controls the activities of site staff and agrees on quality standards set out in contract
• Liaises with clients site staff and agrees on quantities programmes, etc
• Submits monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates
Qualification required & experience
• Must have a proven experience as Site Agent/Project Manager for a minimum of 10 years
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and standard OSHE guidelines
• Must have track record of good leadership skills and be able to drive production on schedule
• Experience in managing unionized workers and understanding of labour laws is a plus
• Ability to communicate and report effectively using appropriate ICT channels
• Fluency in written and spoken French is added advantage
