As an Architect or Design Technician, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique professional environments, providing technical support for completion and execution of projects, working on all project stages and your responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for supporting the team in detailed technical development of design and technical input during the preparation and execution of construction documents and on site
• Support the team in collaboration with the Project Manager and colleagues
• Lead the technical aspects of the project team and over-see all phases
• Act as support to Project Manager, Designers and Project Architects
• Prepare plans, elevations, details and sections of detailed construction drawings
• Assist with the coordination of consultants on a mixture of newly built as well as refurbishment projects
• Preparation of 3Ds with 3D Max, Archirender, Sketchup and Revit is a bonus
• 3D imaging and general presentation work
Required Skills / Experience
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architectural Design Technician, Draughtsmanship or equivalent from a recognised institution, with demonstrable experience in design, detailing and/or construction practice with a minimum of 5 years working experience.
• Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit, 3D Max, and related BIM software
• Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
• Familiarity with design applications such as 3D Max, Sketch up and Phino and an innate ability to communicate the benefits of these components within an integrated building information model
• Able to set up office standards for the translation of drawings between these and other platforms (DWG, IFC, Inventor files)
• Able to organise the CAD workflow, working with 3D and 2D info produced by different team members
Years of Experience : 5 Years
Competencies
• Creative and original thinking demonstrated through a strong creative portfolio
• The ability to support a team with good collaboration skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Willing to drive to site mostly in Ghana
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
