Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is a leading company in the automotive sector, specializing in the assembly and sale of light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles. We are committed to delivering robust, reliable, and high-performance commercial vehicles, including tipper trucks and trailers, to support Ghana’s construction, mining, and logistics industries. We are seeking experienced, safety-conscious drivers to join our Dzorwulu branch operations.

Reports To: Branch Manager
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate heavy-duty tipper trucks and trailers (manual transmission, multi-axle) on urban, highway, and off-road job sites.

Execute customer test drives to demonstrate vehicle capabilities (tipping mechanism, braking, load stability).

Deliver assembled vehicles from the Tema assembly plant to the Dzorwulu showroom or directly to customers nationwide.

Maneuver vehicles in tight spaces (workshops, loading bays, construction sites).

Conduct daily vehicle checks: engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid (tipper mechanism), tire pressure, brakes, lights, and coupling systems (for trailers).

Report any mechanical defects or body damage immediately to the workshop team.

Supervise loading to ensure weight distribution does not exceed Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Ensure proper use of tarpaulins, chains, and binders for load security.
-
Operate the hydraulic tipping mechanism safely on level ground, avoiding overhead cables or soft edges.

Adhere strictly to Ghana’s road traffic regulations, axle load limits, and Zonda Tec’s safety policies.

Maintain a valid driving license with appropriate heavy-duty endorsements.

Report any accidents, near misses, or traffic violations immediately.

Maintain accurate logbooks: trip records, fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery notes.

Collect customer signatures for delivery or test-drive acknowledgment.

Present a professional image of Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd during customer interactions.

Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum WASSCE certificate. Technical training in heavy vehicle mechanics is an advantage.

Valid Ghanaian Driver’s License with F.

Minimum 5–10 years of proven experience driving tipper trucks and/or trailers (dump trucks, low-bed trailers, or flatbed trailers).

Familiarity with hydraulic tipping systems, air brakes, manual multi-speed transmissions, and trailer coupling/uncoupling.

Strong familiarity with roads in Greater Accra (especially Tema heavy-industrial zone, Dzorwulu, and major routes to Eastern/Ashanti regions).
