Key Responsibilities
Functional
-
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments (Finance, SCM, HR, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.)
-
Map business processes to ERP module functionality; identify gaps and propose solutions (configuration vs customisation)

Conduct fit-gap analysis and prepare functional specification documents (FSDs)
-
Configure ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales & Distribution, HR/HCM, Manufacturing) based on business requirements

Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions and support end-user training
Technical
-
Write and review technical specifications (TSDs) for custom developments, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects)
-
Coordinate with technical developers or equivalent programmers for custom development
-
Perform basic troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis of technical issues
-
Support data migration activities including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, and validation
-
Design and support system interfaces/integrations with third-party applications
-
Assist in ERP upgrades, patches, and system testing

Project & Support

Participate in all phases of ERP implementation: requirements, design, build, test, deploy, and post-go-live support

Provide day-to-day functional and technical support, resolving tickets/incidents within SLA
-
Liaise between business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors

Prepare status reports and contribute to project documentation
-
Ensure compliance with change management and governance processes
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
-
Minimum 3 years of experience as an ERP consultant (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or similar), with hands-on techno-functional exposure

Good knowledge of databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL
-
Experience with configuration, testing, and support in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation

Familiarity with reporting tools, query languages (SQL), basic scripting/programming concepts and with Microsoft reports SSRS

Understanding of business processes across the relevant functional domain (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report
