Scope
This is a Senior Staff position, located in our operational areas under the responsibility of the Estates Production Manager for effective monitoring of activities/ operations within the divisions.
Responsible for the exploitation of latex of every tappable tree in the Division (Old and New farms) and the timely evacuation of the crop to the factory. Involves land preparation, planting and maintenance of rubber in the division while ensuring the quality indices set at the beginning of the tapping season. Also responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental issues in the Divisions.
MA1: Ensure the maintenance and repairs of all fleet of the company

4 Broad Activities: Land preparation, Planting, Field maintenance and latex exploitation (production).

Land preparation: Responsible to undertake all land preparation activities in the division at according to standards and budget.

Planting: Responsible for the planting of good quality rubber and to ensure a good planting success of not less than 97%.

Field Maintenance: Responsible for general maintenance of plant and administration of the division.

Production: Responsible for the exploitation of latex of every tappable tree the division and the timely evacuation of same to the factory.

Responsible for the management of labour of the division.

Ensure all quality indices are met.

Responsible for health, safety and environment issues in the division

Requirements:

Education: BSC. Agric, Natural Resources, or any Agriculture related Degree qualification

Experience: Minimum of at least 3 years’ relevant working experience
