Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the farm and report any issues promptly.
- Carry out weeding activities and ensure the farm remains clean and free from excessive weeds.
- Maintain all farm boundaries and ensure boundary lines are clearly visible and free from weeds and bushes.
- Monitor the health and growth of the oil palm and coconut plantations and report any problems affecting their development.
- Prevent and report theft, encroachment, bushfires, pest attacks, diseases, or any other threats to the farm.
- Coordinate and supervise casual labourers engaged for weeding, planting, boundary maintenance, or other farm activities.
- Ensure the farm compound and surrounding areas are clean, orderly, and secure at all times.
- Assist with the planting and maintenance of coconut seedlings when planting activities commence.
- Maintain simple records of farm activities and submit reports to management as required.
- Protect all farm assets, tools, equipment, and infrastructure entrusted to his care.

Required Skills or Experience
Skills/Experience
- Minimum of Junior High School (JHS) education.
- Previous experience in farming, plantation management, or agricultural field work is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of oil palm and coconut cultivation practices.
- Ability to carry out weeding, pruning, boundary maintenance, and general farm upkeep.
- Ability to identify and report pests, diseases, bushfires, theft, and encroachment issues.
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor farm activities.
- Ability to supervise and work with casual labourers when required.
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Honest, reliable, and committed to protecting farm assets and property.
- Knowledge of bushfire prevention and fire belt maintenance is an added advantage.
- Ability to operate basic farm tools and equipment safely.
