Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our Sunyani Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across our facilities and project sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational continuity by diagnosing faults quickly and adhering to strict safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, and specialized equipment according to specifications.

Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to execute tasks accurately.

Testing & Inspection: Conduct routine electrical inspections and testing to ensure system integrity.

Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent unexpected failures.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.

Tool Management: Maintain electrical tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working order.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, resolving issues under pressure.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspection logs.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and construction teams on interdisciplinary projects.

Job Requirements

Education: Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.

Experience: Practical experience as an electrician is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, wiring standards, and regulations.

Tools Proficiency: Ability to use electrical testing instruments (multimeters, voltmeters) and hand tools effectively.

Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good communication abilities.

Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.

Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to perform manual labor; strong safety-conscious mindset.
