ABOUT THE ROLE
BTM Travel Ghana is looking for dynamic Sales and Marketing Executives to join us for the National Service year.
We are looking for proactive individuals who can take marketing-generated leads and convert them into confirmed bookings while actively supporting the search for new business opportunities.
This is a pure sales role. You will not be waiting for leads to come in. You will be identifying prospects, opening doors, building relationships with corporate contacts, and supporting the team in converting those conversations into signed accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Development & Prospecting
- • Pipeline Building: Research and identify corporate organizations across sectors that have regular travel needs. Help build and manage a live prospect list and move leads through the pipeline with purpose.
- • Outreach & Engagement: Make the first move. Whether by phone, email, LinkedIn, or in person, you will help initiate contact with procurement leads, office managers, and other corporate contacts to get BTM in front of the right people.
- • Pitching & Support: Assist in presenting BTM's travel management offering in a way that speaks to each client's specific situation. Learn to understand client pain points, support objection handling, and help bring accounts over the line.
2. Account Management & Retention
- • Onboarding New Clients: Support the smooth handover of new corporate accounts to the operations team and stay close during the early stages to protect the relationship.
- • Relationship Management: Check in regularly with active clients. Learn their travel patterns, anticipate their needs, and help ensure BTM remains their first call, not an afterthought.
- • Upselling & Growth: Look for opportunities to maximize each interaction, whether that is additional services, new travel routes, or bringing in more departments within the same organization.
3. Market & Campaign Alignment
- • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about competitor offerings, airline developments, and corporate travel trends in Ghana and the region. Feed that insight back to the team.
- • Campaign Support: Work with the marketing team to ensure outreach aligns with what is live in the market. If a promotion or campaign is running, use it as a reason to reach out.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- • Status: Must be a prospective or current National Service Personnel (NSS) posted to, or seeking posting with, BTM Ghana.
- • Commercial Instinct: An interest in sales and business development. You should be eager to learn how to open a conversation, build trust over time, and close without being pushy.
- • Communication: Sharp and professional written and spoken English.
- • Self-Driven: Able to structure your own day, follow a pipeline with guidance, and stay motivated with reasonable supervision.
- • Experience: No prior work experience is required. Any exposure to sales, customer service, or marketing (including internships or school projects) is an advantage.
