Role Summary
The Fleet Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet of vehicles and related equipment. Day-to-day activities include planning and scheduling preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.

The position manages maintenance staff, monitors performance, and enforces maintenance procedures and best practices. The Fleet Maintenance Manager also tracks maintenance costs, maintains accurate records, collaborates with operations and logistics teams, and supports continuous improvement in fleet reliability and uptime.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills for vehicle and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills to plan, schedule, and optimize fleet upkeep.
- Candidates should have knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle safety standards, and basic mechanical diagnostics.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and record-keeping abilities, with proficiency in maintenance tracking tools or software.
- Candidates should have effective communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering, mechanical maintenance, or a related field is beneficial.
- Previous experience managing fleet or workshop operations in a manufacturing or logistics environment is an advantage.
