Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for glass processing and fabrication projects, from initial inquiry through to final submission. The role requires a strong understanding of glass products, technical specifications, and installation processes, with a focus on delivering value while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents for glass projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to determine scope and pricing.
- Conduct material take-offs and labor cost analysis.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing for materials and accessories.
- Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost efficiency.
- Review and evaluate project risks, variations, and cost implications.
- Ensure all quotations meet company pricing strategies and profit margins.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of estimates and project costing.
- Support project handover processes by ensuring clarity on scope and budget.

Required Skills or Experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the glass processing, construction, or fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of glass types, specifications, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (an advantage).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Minimum qualification: HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
