Role Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Officer, located in Accra. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school premises, staff, students, and visitors. Daily responsibilities include monitoring the entrance and exit points, conducting patrols to maintain a secure environment, responding to alarms and incidents promptly, and enforcing the school's security policies and procedures.

Additional duties include keeping detailed records of activities and incidents and collaborating with school staff to address safety concerns effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveillance, monitoring, and incident response
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and visitors
- Attention to detail and situational awareness to identify and address potential risks
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently
- Physical fitness to manage patrolling and other demanding physical tasks
- Prior experience in security or a related role is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications are a plus
