Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Pharmacist to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in research and development, production oversight, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring our products meet the highest safety, efficacy, and quality standards from formulation to market release.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Development (R&D)
- Participate in the development, optimization, and validation of herbal and pharmaceutical formulations
- Design, conduct, and analyze formulation studies and stability testing
- Support clinical and pre-clinical research documentation where required

Production & Manufacturing
- Oversee large-scale manufacturing of medications
- Ensure production processes comply with GMP and internal SOPs
- Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and consistency
Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA)
- Supervise testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Enforce GMP compliance across manufacturing and packaging operations
- Review batch manufacturing records and deviation reports
Regulatory Affairs
- Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions to the FDA, Ghana, and other authorities
- Support product registration, renewal, and post-market surveillance activities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international pharmaceutical regulations
Technical Support
- Provide scientific and technical support to the sales and marketing teams
- Assist with product training, technical presentations, and medical information
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Industrial Pharmacy (PharmD or BPharm); a postgraduate qualification with a minimum of 3 years of work experience qualifies as well
- Must be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of Ghana
- Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and documentation abilities
