Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the efficient and quality delivery of planned production volumes on a line basis while maintaining a safe, hygienic, and world?class operational environment. The role involves running packaging operations, coordinating labour, supporting maintenance activities, monitoring quality, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement production strategies to achieve shift-wise KPIs across Throughput, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale.
- Coordinate labour and ensure all required packaging materials are available for uninterrupted operations.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to diagnose faults and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and control material usage, yield, and waste to optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure packaging lines operate at the desired capacity and within defined operational parameters.
- Oversee QC checks, analyses, and documentation completed by packaging machine operators.
- Ensure all operational checklists are completed and documented by the operators.
- Maintain high standards of Good Housekeeping, hygiene, and waste?free operations in line with world?class standards.
- Create SAP packing job notifications and items requisitions.
- Collate, prepare, and document all shift activities at shift close.
- Collate and document material usage at the end of each shift.

- Improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Enhanced safety performance.
- Reduced packing and stripper downtime.
- Improved shift target achievement.
- 100% compliance with food safety requirements, cleaning, fumigation, and record keeping.
- Reduced laminate waste.
- Timely identification and correction of abnormalities.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum Diploma in Food Technology / Mechanical / Electrical.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operating and/or maintaining packing machines in an FMCG environment.
Key Competencies Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and target-oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Hands-on experience with: Excel / Abnormality finding & correction / CLIT / AM / PM / Kaizen
