ABOUT THE ROLE

The Showroom Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring efficient sales operations, proper inventory management, excellent customer service, and effective supervision of the shop floor team. The role requires a proactive leader who can multitask, learn quickly, and drive high standards of performance and discipline.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and coordinate daily showroom activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the shop floor team to achieve sales and service targets.
  • Ensure proper product display, cleanliness, and overall showroom aesthetics.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock monitoring, accuracy, and reporting.
  • Work closely with inventory and finance teams to resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Support sales growth through effective customer engagement and team supervision.
  • Handle basic operational issues on the shop floor and escalate appropriately when required.
  • Ensure punctuality, discipline, and professionalism among team members.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports and any other report as and when required.

OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
  • Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions
  • Risk Assessment
  • Hazard identification and reporting
  • Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable

Required Skills or Experience

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, Social Sciences/Humanities.
  • Proven experience in showroom management, retail supervision, or inventory management is required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical products will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Customer service skills
  • Efficient showroom operations.
  • Improved team discipline and productivity.
  • Accurate inventory control.
  • High customer satisfaction and improved sales support.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be willing to work on Saturdays and public holidays as and when required.
  • Flexible and available to support extended operational hours when necessary
