Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and supportive Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our team at Petits Scholars International School. The successful candidates will provide support to teachers and assist with daily activities, promoting a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our early years students.
Reports to: Room Leader/Teacher
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons and activities
- Assist with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nappy changing, and toilet training
- Provide individual and group support to children, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Encourage social skills, independence, and confidence in children
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including tidying and preparing resources
- Support children's language and communication development through interaction and activities
- Assist with observations and assessments, providing feedback to teachers
- Attend training and meetings as required, contributing to the team's development

Required Skills or Experience
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Experience working with early years children (0-5 years)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young children
- Ability to work flexibly, including supporting different age groups and activities
