We are an International Catering Company that operates various activities in the catering industry, and we are looking for a COMMIS CHEF.
Job Summary
- Reporting to Chef de Partie.
- Producing food items according to approved specifications/recipes.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Create and develop new recipes.
- Prepares and cooks food following approved specifications/recipes.
- Ensures adherence to HACCP and regional safety regulations in compliance with Gategroup policies and procedures.
- Responsible for safe and clean workstations and equipment always.
- Preparing meals as dictated by the specific client specifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about culinary and ingredients
- Always always ensure food safety.
- Any other duties assigned by your superior.

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Qualification as a Chef by trade OR GG Internal Certification following a minimum of 3 years’ experience in all sections of a Gate Gourmet hot kitchen as a Kitchen Worker.
- Apprenticeship or associate degree in culinary arts, formal culinary education, or a related field required.
- Work experience in large-scale kitchen production preferred.
