Purpose

Manage VISIONFUND GHANA banking applications and databases for the acquisition and installation of business applications software, specification and documentation of operational and reporting requirements for all business applications needs, which includes T24 and Mobile application. He/she will provide prompt resolutions and exceptional Help Desk Support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line/help desk support to users.
  • Investigate problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions to take.
  • Prioritise requests in accordance with agreed criteria and with reference to the direct report.
  • Interview business systems users to determine and document their business application requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to users who need help implementing technical solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to end users through troubleshooting and problem-solving of assigned helpdesk tickets.
  • Performing software testing and quality assurance.
  • Implement IT service and operational standards, policies, and procedures in all business application systems.
  • Train end users utilising the business system when new releases of software or modules are installed.
  • Ensure the Close of Business, Month and Year run successfully.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in the area of Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Technical related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent customer focus and interpersonal relations skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to research and apply problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Temenos eMerge / T24 Application (Banking System) will be an added advantage.
