Japan Motors Trading Company Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced Auto Technician (Heavy Duty Trucks).
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in heavy-duty vehicle repairs and a commitment to delivering quality service.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty, engines, transmissions, braking systems and other mechanical components
- Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults in vehicles
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out to manufacturer standards and within set timelines.
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards and repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with service advisors and workshop supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
- Comply with safety procedures, workshop standards, and environmental regulations
- Stay updated on new repairs techniques, tools and heavy-duty-truck technologies
- Complete assigned training courses

Qualification Required & Experience
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks
- Strong knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license (preferably for heavy-duty vehicles
