We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Chemistry Teacher to join our Secondary School Science Faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and deliver the A-Level Chemistry curriculum, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
- Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and external examinations.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Facilitate safe and effective practical laboratory sessions, encouraging hands-on scientific exploration.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Offer academic mentoring and guidance, including support for university applications in STEM fields.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
- Participate in co-curricular activities such as science clubs, STEM fairs, and competitions to enrich student learning.
- Uphold safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety standards at all times.

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (Master’s desired).
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ A-Level (or equivalent) teaching experience.
- Proven success in preparing students for examinations.
- Strong subject expertise and classroom management.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
- Commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and student well-being.
