Our client is a key player in the construction industry with a portfolio spanning West Africa. The client is seeking a dynamic Site Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-profile construction projects from inception to completion. This role demands a decisive leader with a strong technical background, proven stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and quality workmanship.
- Oversee procurement, resource allocation, and cost control measures to maximise project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with construction regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Anticipate risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to minimise project delays.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and site documentation for senior management.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree advantageous).
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a site/project management role within the construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and HSE regulations.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
