Human Intervention is a design and innovation studio helping ambitious companies bring thoughtful, human-centered products to market. We partner with forward-thinking teams to deliver design work that blends strategy, craft, and measurable impact.
We’re looking for a Freelance Product Designer to join our network on a project basis. In this role, you’ll be embedded within one of our US-based client teams, collaborating directly with their product, engineering, and business stakeholders to create intuitive, high-quality digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Translate requirements and user needs into clean, effective interface designs.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation and design quality.
- Maintain and evolve design systems for consistency and scalability.
- Present and articulate design decisions clearly to both internal and client stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product design (UX and UI) for web and/or mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design work that demonstrates problem-solving, attention to detail, and measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with prototyping tools.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams.
- Solid understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present work and rationale confidently.
- Comfortable working independently while aligning with broader project goals.
Nice to Have
- Experience in industries such as fintech, SaaS, or AI products.
- Knowledge of motion design or micro-interaction design.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum workflows.
