We are looking for a lively procurement officer to join our growing team! With exceptional attention to detail, you’ll spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimisation, as well as, providing guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. You’ll need to be a supply chain and logistics wiz, who specialises in implementing cost-effective purchases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing procurement strategies to optimise efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Creating purchase orders, organising and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving for the company.
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Preparing procurement reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live in or around Adenta.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must hold a full driving license.
Salary: 2000 - 3500 GHC
