The Salad Boss is seeking to recruit Chef / Cook – Food Truck (Special Fried Rice & Shawarma).
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our vibrant food truck team, specializing in:
- Fried rice with beef sauce and chicken sauce, Shawarma
- Vegetable fried rice
- Shrimp fried rice
Your role is to prepare delicious, consistent meals, maintain high standards of hygiene, and contribute to a dynamic, customer-focused experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook our core menu items quickly and accurately
- Assist in menu planning and occasional specials
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Manage inventory and minimize waste
- Collaborate with the team to ensure fast service, especially during peak hours
- Suggest new recipes or improvements to delight customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a chef, cook, or food vendor (experience with fried rice & shawarma preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules
- Ability to work efficiently in a small, fast-paced food truck environment
- Passion for cooking and creativity
- Reliability and a positive attitude
