ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Procurement Officer, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that meet quality standards. You’ll manage supplier relationships, maintain procurement records, and support inventory control to ensure operational efficiency. Beyond purchasing, you will play a key role in upholding procurement policies, supporting budget adherence, and contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives that align with the company’s goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procurement Operations for assigned business unit
- Manage material requests from the Projects department
- Create Purchase Orders
- Mobilize the collection of goods from Inventory
- Inspect and handover goods to Projects department
- Manage Returns on MRNs
- Manage Purchase Order Approvals
- Receipt of goods into transit bay(local/imports)
- Manage MRN/Project Returns
- Monthly test case report (every last day of the month)
- Any other duties as assigned in relation to the achievement of overall company goals.
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
- Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions relating to work
- Hazard identification and reporting
- Wear appropriate PPEs for work at all time
- Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable
Required Skills or Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Supply Chain, Procurement/Purchasing, Social Science.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience

- Ability to work in a technical environment and engage with engineering expertise.
