Job Description
To provide safe, professional, and reliable driving services, including transporting company executives and staff, as well as operating tanker vehicles for logistics purposes. The driver will ensure vehicle maintenance, compliance with safety standards, and timely delivery of transport services across assigned duties.
General Driving Duties
- Drive Directors and staff to meetings, events, and official assignments.
- Run office errands including banking, pickups, deliveries, and courier services.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and punctuality at all times.
- Keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and roadworthy.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation (insurance, roadworthy, license) is valid and up to date.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel usage records, and vehicle inspection reports.

Tanker Driving Duties
- Operate tanker trucks to transport water, fuel, or other liquid cargo as assigned.
- Follow safety procedures during loading, transport, and unloading of liquids.
- Inspect the tanker before and after trips, reporting any faults immediately.
- Monitor pressure and seals to ensure safe handling of tanker cargo.
- Comply with all road, health, and safety regulations during operations.
- Support logistics during company operations requiring tanker movement.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Driver’s License (Class F and B or equivalent – required for both general and tanker driving).
- Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience, including experience with tankers or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Defensive Driving Training or Hazardous Materials Transport Certification (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Familiarity with local routes and long-distance operations.
Skills and Competencies
- Safety-conscious with excellent driving skills.
- Ability to drive both saloon and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Professional attitude and ability to interact respectfully with Directors and staff.
- Good communication, time management, and reporting skills.
- Mechanical awareness and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills.
Salary: GHS 2000 - 3000
