As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be instrumental in driving our technical strategy and building advanced AI solutions across computer vision and natural language processing domains. You'll help oversee complex R&D efforts, mentor technical talent, and work closely with our executive team to expand our suite of impactful AI products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Optimize NLP Models: Build and fine-tune GPT-based models to improve language understanding and generation for specific use cases.
- API & Backend Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating the OpenAI API and develop backend infrastructure using Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Cloud Deployment & DevOps: Deploy and manage AI applications on AWS, using Docker and Kubernetes, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient updates.
- Data Management: Prepare and handle data for model training and inference, working with SQL/NoSQL databases to optimize data access and storage.
- Model Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy, monitor, and maintain AI models in production to ensure reliability and high performance in real-time.

Technical Skills
- 35 years in AI, data science, or software engineering with leadership experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Python, Java, and C/C++ for core development
- TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn for machine learning
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deployment
- Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Experience with data pipelines and big data technologies (Spark, Kafka)
- Knowledge of NLP, transformer models, and large language models
- Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage technical projects, with a track record of delivering complex solutions
