Mission description
We are seeking a Legal Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an LLB, BA Law or its equivalent, possess a valid Solicitors license, have good knowledge of public, international and administrative law, company law, property and insurance law, human rights issues and labour law.
Profile
- Have 1-2 years' experience in corporate practice.
- Provide legal and administrative support to the Legal Manager.
- Draft and/or review tenancy agreements, leases, contracts and other legal documents.
- Draft letters and provide concise legal advice to Department Heads and teams.
- Assist Legal Manager and other Department Heads in completing and reviewing due diligence questionnaires.
- Fill out and process all insurance/claim issues and provide reports.
- Prepare monthly/annual reports as and when required by the various regulatory bodies.
- Assist Legal Manager in application of annual business licenses, permits and certificates.
- Draft board resolutions and handle company secretarial matters as necessary.
- Represent the Group in court together with the external solicitors when required.
