Job Roles & Responsibilities:
The duties that candidate will be responsible for
Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor compliance with Bank of Ghana requirements applicable to digital lending.
- Assist in preparing regulatory reports and submissions.
- Maintain regulatory registers and compliance calendars.
- Track licence conditions and filing deadlines. Review new regulations and communicate regulatory changes internally.
2. AML/CFT Compliance
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Review KYC documentation.
- Assist in transaction monitoring and escalate unusual or suspicious transactions.
- Maintain AML records.
- Support preparation of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required.

3. Consumer Protection
Review lending disclosures for regulatory compliance. Monitor complaint handling. Assist with fair lending practices and ensure customers receive required notices and disclosures.
4. Data Protection
Support compliance with Ghana's Data Protection Act. Monitor customer consent requirements. Maintain privacy documentation. Assist with data breach reporting procedures.
5. Policy & Documentation
- Update compliance policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance manuals.
- Assist with internal audits.
- Keep statutory registers up to date.
6. Monitoring & Testing
- Perform periodic compliance reviews.
- Test operational processes against regulatory requirements.
- Identify compliance gaps.
- Track remediation actions.
Job Requirements:
Qualification, Experience, Education, Skills and so on the candidate should possess
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Risk Management.
- 0–2 years compliance, legal, audit, or financial services experience.
- Internship experience in banking or fintech is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of digital lending, AML/CFT, and KYC requirements.
- Consumer protection, data privacy, and risk management.
- Bank of Ghana regulatory framework.
- Financial Intelligence Centre requirements.
Job Salary: GHS 4500 - 12000
