Role:

Reporting to the Technical Director

The Nutrition Manager will lead the development and execution of nutrition strategies, ensuring products meet or exceed nutritional standards and regulations. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide expert guidance to both internal and external stakeholders on nutrition-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nutrition strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest nutrition trends, research, and regulations to ensure that the company’s products meet or exceed nutritional standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure that nutrition is integrated into all aspects of product development and marketing.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders on nutrition-related issues, including product labeling, claims, and messaging.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry associations, government agencies, and nutrition experts.
  • Manage and lead a team of nutrition professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

Technical & Behavioural Competencies

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience in nutrition-related roles in the food industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of nutrition science, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex nutrition concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team of nutrition professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
