In this role as a Cyber Security Adjunct Lecturer, you will play an essential part in inspiring and guiding our students, empowering them to unlock their full academic and creative potential in the fast-evolving domains of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to ensure students acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills.
- Develop curriculum and course materials that align with academic standards and can be effectively utilized across various learning platforms.
- Equip students with the necessary knowledge and competencies to confidently pursue and advance their careers in cybersecurity.
- Leverage modern technology and collaborate with fellow lecturers to enhance teaching methodologies and continuously expand subject expertise.
- Assess, evaluate, and grade assignments and examinations in line with institutional assessment policies, providing constructive feedback to support student growth
- Supervise and guide student-led projects and innovations relevant to the field of study.
- Providing mentorship and support to students and other colleagues.
Subject Expertise:
- Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking
- Digital forensics
- Networking
- Linux/Windows administration
Abilities and Skills:
- Excellent presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to design and develop the curriculum.
- Experience in teaching cybersecurity and digital forensics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills
- Advanced knowledge in the integration of future trends and technologies into cybersecurity frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with networking and cybersecurity.
- Good team building and interpersonal skills
Industry Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and network security.
- Practical knowledge of industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Experience in conducting security audits, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Worked in cybersecurity consulting, IT security management, or related roles.

Qualification Requirements:
- A minimum of a BSC in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- EC-Council certification (CEH or CHFI) or
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – (ISC)² or
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – ISACA or
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) – ISACA or
- CompTIA Security+ – CompTIA or
- Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP) – (ISC)² or
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) – Offensive Security or
